About this fund

Fund objectives

  • The Fund employs a passive management – or indexing – investment approach, through physical acquisition of securities, and seeks to track the performance of the FTSE Developed Europe ex U.K. Index (the “Index”).
  • The Index is comprised of large and mid-sized company stocks in developed markets in Europe, excluding the UK.
  • The Fund attempts to: 1. Track the performance of the Index by investing in all constituent securities of the Index in the same proportion as the Index. Where not practicable to fully replicate, the Fund will use a sampling process. 2. Remain fully invested except in extraordinary market, political or similar conditions.

Why this fund

  • The Fund seeks to track the performance of the Index, a widely recognised market- capitalization weighted index of stock market performance of European developed countries, excluding the United Kingdom, that is comprised of the stocks of large and mid capitalisation companies in that region.
  • The Fund employs a passive management or indexing investment approach, through physical acquisition of securities, designed to track the performance of the Index, a free float adjusted market capitalisation weighted index.
  • In tracking the performance of the Index, the Fund attempts to replicate the Index by investing all, or substantially all, of its assets in the stocks that make up the Index, holding each stock in approximately the same proportion as its weighting in the Index.
